I have seen people do this with quads and snow mobiles and im just curious to know if anyone has ever tried it with an r/c car. Has anyone ever done this or seen it done?

I saw my T-Maxx do it at our lake house for about 3 feet before it sank to the bottom. It is still down there at about 25-30 feet. It was going at about full throttle when the brakes failed and it went down the ramp, on the dock, .........then off the dock. Not very fun to watch at the time but kind of funny now looking back on it. I would be willing to say that the weight distribution on the four tires is not on the side of the truck.

Ive seen clodbusters float, you have to seal up the holes in the wheels so the tyres dont fill up with water. Clod busters have a fair bit of weight quite low down though, so they dont tip over.

I have heard rumours that nitro monster truck will aquaplane, but i havnt found a big enough area of 3 inch deep water to test it on before i try going over a lake!

If i do try it i will want to try it in shallow water first. I probably wont because it would be a huge risk that would cost alot to repair if it did not make it across. I might want to try big tires and get it to float though.

i saw it in the first xxx main video. the guy drove a xxx buggy across a pool a couple of times and it skimmed right across, then it sunk and this really hot chick swam after it. what was the guy thinking just leaving his truck at the bottom of a lake, swim after it, or get a fishing pole and hope to snag it. dude if i were you i would try to get it myself, and use whatever isnt ruined.
