I've decided to build a tmaxx from the ground up and need eveyone's opinion....
The only thing for sure is I'm starting with a spider chassis,
everything else I need to know..
The biggest engine I can use
Transmission..
Servos..
Everything, so remeber this is gonna be a tmaxx, so let's not go overboard and say "put a v8 engine in it".
I'm talkin everything....
For starters, the engine, what's the biggest without modifing anything (NO TAXXAS 2.5 ENGINE), would the picco p2 be the biggest????
and so on and so on....[>:][>:]

ya the picco is the biggest but it gives you a high center of gravity(CG)id put a good .18 engine in it like the FR .18.do a seach on it and there is a ton of info.adn what kind of budget are you on? if you have the cash [link=http://www.unlimitedengineering.com]UE[/link] makes the best parts you can get.if not get all RPM parts you can get.other than that and tires everything else is fine stock.

If you aren't afraid to spend the cash, there is NO substitute for UE, anyone who tells you there is, then they have never had it before.

I recently read an article in an rc mag where they bulit a maxx from the ground up with all the high end hop ups on the market. It cost $5,000. Daaaaang!
