Dual Super Rooster setup
I once read an article in RC Car Action about a dual Novak Super Rooster setup on an emaxx, of course. Has anyone tried this?
Thanks.
P.S.
Oh, and for those who say, "You don't need two because one ESC runs two motors." need not reply.
Thanks.

RE: Dual Super Rooster setup
You must have forgotten about asking this same question over on the generic MT board. here's the reply i gave you over there.
The twin super rooster setup pre dated the current Novak ESC that's OE on the E Maxx. It was the only setup at the time that allowed the use of hotter motors as the (at the time) stock traxxas ESC was little more than a fire waiting to happen, even running the stock motors. It is a very cool looking setup.
I've never run this setup, but have seen it on several early E's and it works just fine. The reason you don't see many of these set ups these days is because the current stock E Maxx ESC (mfg by Novak) is a much better unit that will deliver more run time with less motor heat than the dual Super Rooster set up. Of course if it's cool looks and not actual performance you are after, the dual Super Rooster rig ranks way up there in style points.
