Default Fiberglass Landing Gear?

Hi Tom; I noticed in a post by one of your custumers (Splais) that a fiberglass landing gear is available as an accessory for the Edge 540. I looked on your web page, but found nothing. Can you give price and availability info? Thanks in advance..........[8D]

Not yet available, but soon. We're still doing some testing, I am awaiting what I hope is the final revision. It will be a couple months before I have any production quantities.

The price will be $40 I think.

hey Tom... Just wondering about how much weight difference (Savings) between the old gear and the new fiberglas gear and does the edge gear also fit the extra special 28%?????

The gear fits both Extras. As it is current;y configured it saves only about 2 oz. It was not our intent to make it light weight, just stronger and more resilient.

The one I will be testing in a week or so is actually lighter, but I don't know how mych yet and I do not know if the light one will be strong enough. More news to follow.
