Default HELICOPTER for parts dragonfly/humming bird/jabo

If you go to the site click electric helicopter on the left of the page. Then scroll down a bit. You will see a helicopter for $59.00. It looks to me as if it has everything but the electrical and the servos and the transmitter and crysatals. This sounds like a great parts helicopter to me. Anyone have any experience buying like this. I have a jabo and boy would I love to have one of everypart that will break. I just spent 75 dollars ordering misc. parts but still didnt get as much as I would have if I bought this heli.
Well leave some replies so we feel free to buy.

Justin,
I agree with you. It's much cheaper to buy spares this way than buying part by part.
BTW, did you re-enforce the gears? Tie-wrap/CA here and there would help strengthen up and save $$$.

Yea I put ca on to hold them in and I bought a few extra sets so I would be ready. Wile I was at it I bought a whole new frame just in case. I am learning by trial and error right now and every flight is scary lol. I am getting better though.

Stan Watkins,
Yes, Jabo is Dagonfly/Hummingbird clone.
I've used parts from both Dragonfly & Hummingbird as replacement for Jabo.

Justin,
I know exactly how you feel, 'cause I feel the same ...
Try this website, it has good tips/info for micro helis.

ok here we go.....The main rotor head is different on the jabo. There is an extended poiece of plastic on the hub so the shaft doesnt fall down and off the gear. The dragon fly part doesnt have this but can be donbe the a shaft collor. The heat sinks dont fit exactly....bad bad time trying to get them on......the sharft is a little thicker on the jabo too......some parts are exact but others you may want to look at.....anyone know of any places that sell just jabo parts?

Justin:
I've been dealing with Mr. Jem Kiew who was very helpfull with getting all the parts for my Jabo (and quick!) You can email him at [email protected]
You can also try this URL http://zhyk.com.cn/e_lingpeijian1.htm but I have no experience in dealing with them. Has anyone bought parts from zhyk.com?? Their prices are unbelievably low! (i.e replacement batt = $5)
