FPE 3.2...Compared to zdz 50??
How does the FPE 3.2 compare to the ZDZ 50. What I am concerned with is reliability and throttle response. I am looking at putting this engine on a giant profile so I would be in and out of the throttle constantly. There are a lot of engines out there and the real good ones that I know of are ZDZ and DA. I don't know about the others.

You answered your own question. Stick with ZDZ or DA. There is nothing wrong with FPE, but why introduce a wild card?

The FPE 3.2 uses a synchro-spark ignition system, and properly tuned should be just as reliable as any other gasser out there.
