battery backup?
Hello. I'm just getting back into the hobby and I have a question.
I have a futaba T2PHKA with an FP-R122JE receiver. I'm also using a Duratrax intellispeed 16T MM ESC.
Runs great until battery gets low then I can't control it. Both the receiver and ESC have a BEC but I think they cut out at different levels. I'd like to use the separate battery into the receiver but when I have the main batt. plugged in there is 5 volts acrossed the battery input on receiver. I'm afraid of damaging receiver.
Does anyone know if this is protected and if I add the bat pack will it be OK?
