Default DA-50 drill jig question...

I would like to know what size drill bit needs to be used to drill props for the DA-50, and if you don't have a drill press what is the best way to keep the drill jig in place while drilling.

Thanks all for the coming answers.

If you have a drill jig you can drill it with a drill, while the prop is in a vise. My vise has hard rudder gribs. As to what size bit I can't remember but find the one that fits the jig holes. I make sure to get the engine against compression and line my prop up at the 2:00 position, which makes flipping easy.

I think a #7 .201 is as big as you would want to go if you had to go that big.
After I get one hole drilled I use a extra drill bit in the hole I just drilled to keep the jig from rotating while drilling the other holes.

Put your drill jig on the back end of the prop, lay the face on a piece of wood so the exit hole is clean.
The bolt size is 5mm, just drill the first hole then put one of the bolts through it, etc.
