Default "scateboardcrawler..."

HI!
i've got myself in a little problem, i'm building a crawler out of (ofcourse) a clod, acoording to the pictures i see everywhere it is a bit high but it gives me a lot of clearence ( sorry for my bad english, i'm from holland...)
the problem is the chassis, when i steer, it leens over and the effekt is a bit like a scateboard, the axles start to steer and i need to get it straight up to steer again, anyone kno's this problem?[]
like to show a picture but don't nowe (yet) how,,,,

Sound to me that your springs are too soft. If they can not correct the chassis after a turn, then you may want to experament with stiffer springs. You may also want to check all your links for binding. If you built you chassis your self, go through it and make sure every thing moves free.

it's binding, you need to get the rods away from the wheels and loosen the links

Binding: as in catching, sticking, jamming. I think he is suggesting that one of your suspension links is catching/rubbing/sticking/jamming against one of your wheels and preventing your truck from returning to level running. But if increasing the spring rate fixed the problem don't worry about it.

"American" as a language is defined by bad spelling....If you can spell correctly you call it "English"!

Screwloose:

On my clod, the top link mount tends to loosen up, allowing the gearbox to flex. It throws the whole rig out of square. Make sure those top links are tight, and aligned correctly.

Whatever Ahab...thanks for contributing in a meaningful manner.

[][][][&o]
i think that describes it......
i stiffed my springs but the only effekt is that the're TO strong now....and it still leans over[:'(]
when i loosen it the problem is just as big as it was, when i lowerd the chassis that didn't help either. i tried to copy the mudcow's links but with a differend chassis, he doesn't seem to have any problems.....
any suggestions?
i DID get a lesson in american, that's something

Post some pictures of your truck. From the top, side, bottom. It might help us better determin what is wrong.
