Can anyone tell me if it at all possible to remove a nitro engine and replace it with an electric one?
I like the looks of a certian heli but would prefer electric.
Or is there just to much work involved to convert it over?

Logically, with the right motor anything is possible. However, take into account what the battery that you will need to drive this thing weighs. I think you should do more research and planning before buying anything.

Unless you have a lot of experience with heli's and the motor systems I wouldn't do it. Just buy one of the many commercially available electrics. At the IRCHA Jamboree I saw several nitro heli's converted to electric. All were highly modified to lighten and make room the motor and batteries. Not an easy task for someone unfamiliar with what's involved.
