I got some peel ply with vac system and not sure what it is used for.

Default Peel-Ply

It's to keep the surface smooth. I've attached an image, courtesy of Fibreglast Inc., which shows typical vacuum bag setups.

Thanks, Mike. I wasn't familiar with that product. My setup was not a commercial package.
