Recommendation for wing tubes
Guys, I need professional suggestions for tightening the wing tubes in the wing so that the alumn. tube has a snug fit. Working of WM extra 300 and right side wing's tube is loose or has a gap causing the alumn. wing joiner to rattles inside the tube.
Thanks,
Jamal

Run the tape from the fuselage out the tube, not around it. Also use one layer at a time, unless something is wrong it will take less than you think.

Recommendation for wing tubes
I too have had this problem on my 35 & 40% ships. I tape the tube with regular scotch tape like I am taping a baseball bat or a hockey stick I make it look like a candycane with a one inch seperation between wraps so you have one inch of tape and one inch of space. I apply the tape from end to end on an angle so that the seperation is equal all the way across.
Here is another great tip that works really well. When you are finished taping the tube, spray some household furniture polish on the tube and polish it. It will allow the tube to slide in easier when complete. I do this process to all of my tubes once every couple of months. I no loger have problems putting the wings on or off.
My .02 cents.
