Info on MVVS 2.15 (35cc) gas engine
I am considring the use of this engine for my Dave Platt 1/5th scale Spitfire and I have a few questions.
1) What is the dimension from the crankshaft centerline to the top of the cylinderhead?
2) What tank size is recommended for this engine? I will not be flying at wide open throttle continuously.
3) Which prop would you recommend for scale operation at sea level altitude?
Thank you for your time and I look forward to your reply.

RE: Info on MVVS 2.15 (35cc) gas engine
Al,
The B dimension; crankshaft centerline to top of head is 118 mm.
The size of the fuel tank should be 20-22 oz. It will fly for a long time even with 16 oz. of gas.
The recommended prop sizes for this engine are 18x8--20x10.
I would guess a 20x6 to a 20x8 would best suit your need for maximum thrust and scale speed.
