RE: aerohawk pinion gear
if you dont mind ruining the motor...its probley dead anyways. take two pair of pliers..one on the can and one on the gear.....dont squeez hard on the gear though...and bend the gear on the shaft and itll slid rite off. it works like a charm.

RE: aerohawk pinion gear
I tried this already! I eded up pulling the motor shaft out of the motor. Yes it was already dead.
now i have about 2 1/8 of an inch of the shaft sticking out of one end of the pinion. This thing des not want to come off!!!!!! This is the only thing keeping me from flying!!!!!!!!![:@]

RE: aerohawk pinion gear
Now that you have a shaft with a pinion on the end of it
I got a darning needle (thick needle) cut the end of it & used this to drift the shaft off the pinion
I had to have some help (needed at least 3 hands to hold everything)
I gripped the shaft just below the pinion in a pair of pliers
balanced everything on 2 blocks of wood (shaft dangling between them) so that I could drift (gently hammer) the shaft out of the pinion
