Does anyone now how involved transforming a rustler to a stampede is? How many extra parts would be needed??

Probably cheaper to just buy a stampede, as only the back end is really the same. The chassis is different as is the servo mounting for the steering. And then there are the added braces and body mounts for the shock towers and on and so forth...

yeah the kit is only like 77 so you could just get the kit from tower and use the rustler electronics to bring it to life.

you will also want to use a high torque servo when you put the bigger tires on it. the regular one won't last very long. I ruined two stock servos before i changed. Loren

They share very, very few parts. As for the back end being the same, it is not. The Stampede has a different tranny.
