Default Paint Weight Gain

I have a df bvm maverick which has a coat of primer and a top coat of concept 2000. Unfortunately the paint job went bad. A bad mix of colors. My question is how much added weight will I have if I just spray a new top coat (initial sanding of course). Or should I just go with sanding everything down to the base and start again. New primer, top coat and clear. It would be a lot of new work since I have to lay in the panel lines, prime and then start painting! Any ideas?

I personally know from experience when I painted a 60 size plane, that it added just under 1 pound of extra weight. That was using Rustoleum, and I only sprayed 2 light coats (but it took nearly the whole can). I used a digital scale before and after the paint job.

Man that a HEAVY paint job!!! Of course Rustoleum IS heavy....
I'd suggest reasonable sanding, and then re-paint.
