coverite fabric
How hard is coverite to apply? I heard it can be a bear?? Im want to cover my stinson wiht it for that realistic look. Then for the trims apply monokote ovbecasue i was told it will look like the trim was painted on.

Instead of Coverite, I would HIGHLY recommend SolarTex. It is also a low temp, pre painted fabric that is easy to apply, especially around wing tips and other curves, however you will not need to use Balsarite as the glue on the SolarTex is excellent.
A couple of other pluses for SolarTex are: It is much lighter than Coverite (thie difference in weight between 2 IDENTICAL 40 - 60 size planes was almost 4 oz ) and any overlap seams, in addition to being less noticable, will not require Balsarite for secure sealing.
For the trims, I would paint over the SolarTex and if the paint is not fuel resistant, clear coat it with 2 coats of a water base polyurethane.
