Default H9 Ultimate Balance Question

I am finishing up my Ultimate and was wondering where you guys are balancing them. I had heard the manual may have been too far forward. Thanks in advance, Craig

Default RE: H9 Ultimate Balance Question

I balanced mine at 1/2" Behind what is stated in the manual and I really like it there for Imac flying. I let Jon Leyland fly it this past weekend and he like the CG placement as well. If it is going to be a primary 3D aircraft you might want to go another 1/2 to 3/4" back.

Thanks for the info Chris. Will go for 1/2" back and see how it feels. Jon flew at our field about a month ago up here in Rocky Hill CT. What a nice guy (not to mention the best pilot I have ever met)! Not alot of guys around here I offer to let fly my plane, but he would be welcomed to fly it anytime. Take care, Craig
