What motor for old RC 10 buggy?
Got a new Triton charger for airplane batteries.....so, pulled out all of the old batteries to test the new charger. Well, the old car batteries gave me the urge to get the electric cars running again. The RC10 is probably in the best shape for a re-build. So, what's "up-to-date", motor-wise? Probably a motor in the 14 to 18 turn category and under $30 if possible. Any help?

RE: What motor for old RC 10 buggy?
Your ESC has to be able to handle your low turn motor. Not all ESC are the same. I've got the original gold tub RC10 Buggy. That's at least 12 years ago. Cool Buggy. It's all drilled out to lighten the car. I started to use it again for my kids (6 & 8). I've got a modify motor in it but can't remember the turns. The new 6 cell 3000mah batteries lasts a long time compare with my old 7 cell 1700mah SCE. The 7 cells are much faster. L.O.L. I was looking for a motor also.
Any suggestions to used with the ESC Novak T-1X or how many turns this controller can handle. Been busy and did not find my manual for the ESC.
