Default How much damage is too much?

Today i purchased a Pheonix Models Diabolo

First impressions are good, It seems to be really well put together, just a couple of very minor things...

The model seems to have suffered a few small hits in transit, but im not to worried.

so heres my question.......

the canopy suffered damage across the front and to repair it ill just glue up a small brace under neath the damage, re shrink the cover and all should be good.

so.

at what point to you declare a model damaged enough in transit to recommend taking it back and asking for a replacement,
how much damage is too much?

Personally, unless I needed it fast I would keep returning it until they could get the shipping right. You spent good money on that and it should look like it.
Just my opinion.

Take some digital pictures send them to the Manf. Tell them to replace the broken items. If you were local I'd say send it back!

Agree with both points ,
Why pay for a perfactly good model and then have to repait it ,
that is like you sending in 75% of your payment

I always do what ever is easire , get parts in question or return model if the damae is really bad .

Most cases the supplier as been very graciuos when you contact them the day you receive the plane .(this is important )
