Default Edi Stahlie F-18...Anyone seen this thing?

I have plans and a construction article for an F-18 out of R/C Jet International. It's designed by Edi Stahlie. Fits a Ramtec w/.91. Neat design. Comes in around 11-12 pounds with flaps and spring air retracts. I'm going to start building this thing and just wondered if anyone has seen it, flown it, or built it. It's all wood construction with foam flying surfaces, the tail is a stab and elev. design(not flying tail), but other than that its a nice scale plane. The fuse is built up in halves with formers then sheeted, then you join the halves and glass it. Anyway, just curious if there was any bad press on this thing. I hope not..the plans were about 50 bucks shipped! haha. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Hello,

I also read the article about this aircraft. You can be confident, the designer is an experimented guy.

Personnaly, I would have gone for a flying tail and gear doors, it would look much more scale, and this is not difficult to build.
