H-9 P-51 Dihedral Set - How did you set it?
I have been trying out the wing joiner and wings but the dihedral is never less than 7". The book says 6-1/4" and to sand the wing joiner if the dihedral is higher than 6-1/4"...did you sand the wing joiner and if so what was your process? I also notice that one side of the wing joiner sits snug inside the wing while the other side is more loose (does that make sense?)...which part of the wing joiner did you sand (top / bottom and / or snug / loose side)?
I was thinking of setting the snug side in the wing and gluing it in place then work on the top of the loose side? What do you think?
Thanks

Just glued mine!
I just glued up my wing joint. I did not have a problem with the joiner binding, but when I cust a block of wood at 6 and 1/4" and set one wing tip on it, I had a small gap on the top of the wing joint.
I decided that the wing roots were not set up properly, so I moved the wing up to tighten up the gap and glued it. I am at around 6 and 1/2" now and the joint seems strong.
