Maybe... probably... I hope so... but if not?... then 1.20... which is the same weight as the 1.80... so?... would you believe it could be the Saito 1.80?
But... I'm still hoping 100.

saito
I too am looking at this plane and engine combo. Aeroworks said that the Saito 100 would be a great combo.
I sure wish Saito would bore out the 100 and make it a 1.10, now that would be awesome!

Saito 100 on Aeroworks Edge.
Go for It !!! I have the Saito 100 and it is a very powerful engine. Throttle transition and idle are great. I have mine on a 9 1/2 lb (dry) plane and it will hover even with a full 14 oz tank of fuel . I had it on a 7 1/2 pound Cap 232 and vertical was outstanding. It accelerated with authority out of a hover, and would pull good through the top of knife edge loops. I get about 12 minutes duration with the 14 OZ's, but don't use full throttle often. On the test stand it burned about 1.2 OZ per minute at full throttle.
I'm at 1000 feet and getting 10,300 rpm with an APC 15X4 W Fun Fly prop, Omega 15%. And after about 15 hours I am still using the new improved hangar 9 Glow plug which came with the engine !! This engine should pull the AeroWorks 60 size around with plenty of authority for all the 3-D stuff. I already have my eye on the edge for my spring 2002 project, and will put the Saito 100 on it.
