Durastick 40, engine and covering questions?
I bought a Durastick 40 on sale and I thought to let my non-flying friends fly it on a buddy-box.
Yes, I know I'll probably get many of the "That is a brick!" / "Don't get one of those" answers, but I really would like to have a beat around plane, no-feelings-attached, that I can have my friends fly/crash and I don't care if it's not very nimble like a Sig LT40.
Two questions:
1. I'd like to get a O.S fourstroke for this plane, would a .52 be OK?
2. I plan on cover it with packing tape, I'm not much or covering and the look of this plane is of no importance.
The idea is to wrap the wings with clear packing tape and then iron on some monocote circles/squares on the top side of the wing to make it easy to see.
Any comments on this?

RE: Durastick 40, engine and covering questions?
Any comments on my packing tape covering? Do you think it'll work? ... Looks is not an issue!
Has anybody configured this as a taildrager?
I don't want the trike gear and wonder how far forward I should mount the main Under carrige???
I can maximum go as forward as the front hole for the wing dowel because after that is the fuel tank (Great Planes 12oz)

Got some help in the SPAD forum, these guys are used to build hardware-store-designs and we're very helpful.
