Ultra Stick 60 with Futaba 7ca
Just finished a Ultra Stick 60 and have installed a futaba 7ca radio. I went with the quad flap wing and have the four servos in the wing. With a 7 channel receiver can anyone tell me what the set up on this particular radio as far as which channels the 2nd airleron and the two flap servos go into. This is my first computer radio and the 7c manual doesn't seem to explain the set up very well.
Also any suggestions on where this information might be available....
Thanks

I have planes with retracts and flaps and all of it. Since you don't have retracts, throw a "Y" cord on the flap servo's, run it into channel 5 and assign the switch you want?
The ailerons will go into ch 1 & 6. I usually put the right aileron on 1 and the other on 6. Then you have to go into the programing on each one an change something-i forgot what.

not sure about the mixing capabilities of the 7ca, but
i used 7 channels on my 9 cap, maybe it'll work for you, too.
1: ail
2:ele
3:thr
4:rud
5:gear (r flap)
6: fla (left aileron)
7: aux (left flap)
now you just have to do the mixing magic. I used 6 mixes, activated flapperon, flap trim, air brake, elev-flap.
hope it works out with your radio. i know, it's a pita. i chose the 9 cap 'cause i've read it was easy.....
took me 2 weeks.

I use a Super 8 and that is the same channels that I use. I also use the mixing magic that is layed out in the manual that comes with the plane. It works good for the Super 8. I think if you go to Hangar 9s web page you can find some info for programing the 7 and 9
If anyone knows how to get in touch AnnMarie Cross I bet she has the answer. I think she hangs out over at that other site,
something like RcGrouXX.
