PVC Airplane Hangers (Photos)
Several of you asked that I post pictures of my inexpensive PVC airplane hangers that I use to hang my planes off the rafters in our garage. I searched for the original thread bantered about a few weeks ago, but couldn't find it, so I will start a new one.
The parts are inexpensive and available at any hardware store (Home Depot, Lowes, etc) - I purchased all my PVC from the lawn sprinkler section which allowed me to obtain various PVC parts that were already cut to length and threaded - so no glue is required. No glue is good just in case you need to change your dimensions for a larger plane or something. The padding I used is simple PVC pipe insulation. Each 3 piece hanger set cost about $8 total. Another nice thing is that the way I mounted the hangers to the rafter boards allows me to fold them up when not in use.
I have attached photos - if anyone has questions, let me know.

RE: PVC Airplane Hangers
Nice Don! I've made my own wing rack out of 1/2 inch pvc pipe. Materials cost about $8 from Lowe's. I keep all my glow fuses on a ping pong table in the basement. Thus the wing rack saves me some space and keeps them from nasty hangar rashes!!!
