Hi

Try with Jet tech in swiss, they advertise for a large F-111 kit and it looks like the prototype has already been flown. http://jettech.ch/

So is the F-111 being built? All I got from the past treads are spelling and gramma problems.

I remember someone built two and it was in RCJI. Nice looking plane but it wasn't scale. There was another site where someone built the F-111 and it was scale from the landing gear to the inlets. Don't recall if he had slats and flaps, but the wing was moveable. Does anyone know that guy?

The original builder of the F-111 that appeared on the cover of RCJI was the late Harry Gerhman of Redbank Brisbane Australia. True the model was not scale in "some" areas & it did not have scale landing gear but it was the first "known" radio controlled F-111 flying model !! The fan unit was 7 inch also designed & built by H Gerhman. I have two of his kevlar fuselage for sale ( 1/10th scale ).
The molds were sold to a tree loger in Oregon USA & Harrys model was also sold to him. It appeared for sale on Ebay for $8,00.00US !!! (no sale to my knowledge).

Harry built a few & sold some to for ALLOT of money !!
There is still one here in Australia with a turbine but is apparently something of a hanger queen. Looks great all the same.

All known F-111 modelling efforts big & small can be seen on www.F-111.net
There is also two big WinZip files for download for anyone who may like to start building.

Cheers
David
