F15 project finished
After aprox 4 weeks the F15 is ready to get back in the sky. It wasn't supposed to be tricked out but one thing lead to another and oh well!! Still to be my new beater jet though. Was going to go with a gray scheme ,but my better half provided the pics and convinced me on the bicentennial scheme. Glad I listened to her for once. LOL Enjoy Scott

Looks great! I'd love to come see it some time!
Did you use the star graphic that I made for you? If so, I'd like to see how it looks up close on the plane.
Speaking of dolls, yours is standing like he's got a load in his drawers.

Lt Dan, I took a printed pic to the graphic guy,Figured he would just scan it and cut it, but he spent an 1 1/2 hours cleaning it up(ofcourse he charged me also). I guess i'll try to take pics on a floppy next time. Thanks for the help. The main changes were to take the radius out in red corners. came out great. thanks again Scott

If it is g a y, it's the first 10 ft. tall (scalewise) g a y pilot in history. Looks like someone needs to put out a good 1/8-1/9th scale pilot. All these giant pilots are ruining our models. Nice model though. How'd you do the placard on the nose gear?

Paul , the placard on the gear is fron Jet hangar Hobbies. They offer a nice nomenclature package.Multiple decals on a sheet, cut out ,peel and stick. Was a bit disapointed the way they looked after clearing. I thought the decal wouldn't stand out inthe paint. This wasn't supposed to be an extreme scale job. Just a new beater jet.Oh well, on with the next scale project.Happy Holidays to all my Flying and non flying friends.Scott
P.s.Your right on, It would be nice to have a slightly smaller scale pilot avaliable.
