Hi guys and girls,

I have a HPI RS4 2 car with lots of upgraded parts that I have for a few years. Now that I'm thinking about getting back into RC, is there a newer car that I can transfer those parts to(cvd, 2 spd, heavy duty clutch, lightweight flywheel, carbon fiber here and there, etc)? I know that the HPI racer2 is interchangable with the RS4 2. Is there any other car that is newer and compatiable? What do you guys do with your RS4 upgrades?

Normal people install their upgrades. A few of the HPI cars have interchangable parts, but overall, it's not really worth it to buy a new car for a handful of parts. I think the original RS4's and the RS43's have the same clutch setup.

What I meant was that the car has the upgrades already installed. Are the shocks and CVDs interchangeable with any other cars other than the racer2?

Yes, they're all interchangable. The RS4 1 and 2 are essentially the same car, just updated. The only one that's most different from the rest is the racer 2, but that's mostly in the suspension. But yes, the parts are completely interchangable.

I have an RS4 2 RTR, and i'm doing a partial conversion to a Racer 2. HPI has the manuals for all the cars on their website in case you need part numbers.
