Default hummingbird question

i have a 2 week old hummingbird and i cant get enough power out of the tail motor. i have to keep the trim all the way to the right and the mix is wide open. i just installed a new tail motor and a new batery but it still wants to turn left, its not spinning around, just slowly turning, i can stop it by adding a little right rudder, but as the battery wears down, im almost at full right stick to keep the heading, anyone know what i need to do? i called century and they say its my battery, but a new one did not fix it. also, i know that the mix and gain are mis-labled on my board, i turned the one that sped the tail motor up and it was labeled "gain", they said there should have been an addendem in the box but i never seen one. any help would be appreciated.

i also checked the tail gear mesh and it seems to be fine.

Default RE: hummingbird question

Dude
I bought a ARF hyummingbird V3, preflown "tested" heli. Yeah RIGHT[:@][:@] The rotor was trimmed all the way on the transmitter. I increase the mix and this centered the transmitter trim. I still have to constantly adjust the trim while I fly. One tick at a time while I am flying. I have a the all in one gyro/receiver I am looking into the gws 401 gyro, i can use it on a future larger scale gyro. Sounds like you have a bad mixer board. There are some times that I have to go and move the mixer screw back a little and then back into its orignal location and it works again. Another thing I have read is that you should change mixer board settings with the battery is unconnected, so that the board recognizes the changes. There seems to be no consistancy in this gyro. That is why I am looking into another gyro. I originally bought the hummingbird to see if I wolud be interested in this hobby. When all is well I love it!!! I am hoping that when I upgrade to a more expensive heli that alot of the issues I have experienced with this heli will dissappear, and from what I have read in this forum this seems to be true.
