How fast can you build them?
Hey guys, I'm building my first edge and this is my first kit ever built. I'm just curious how many hours it takes one of you guys to build one. It's going to end up taking me ... well I have no idea, but was just curious how long should I expect it to take once I've gotten the hand of it.
Thanks

I built a Taco FF (very fast building plane) from box to air in a week just working after school some. I also did a Morris Knife in about a week and a weekend. I love to build.

I built the stick built Edge in two evenings after work, a good portion of a Saturday, some Sunday morning, went to church and then came home and took it flying. Had a flyin to go to so that motivated me. With the foam core verions now the long pole is letting the glue dry overnight but the actual time spent is quicker. The key is starting with the fuselage and gluing the sheeting on first. Set that aside to cure overnight and build the flat stock and wings in about 3 - 4 hours. Matter of fact you can even start covering some parts the first day if you are gung ho enough. Finish the fuselage the next day and go from there.

Over the Christmas period I built the Katana profile. Broken down, and not allowing for brakes, visitors, and the odd flying session it could have been completed in about four days, but with all the above about ten to fourteen days.
