I use a Hanger 9 Cap 232 Christmas ornament glued to a 1/4" dowel... Pretty cheap and nicer than the average profile stick plane...

Sukhoi,

If you don't mind spending a little bit of money you can get a really nice one at http://www.total-composites.com/stickplane.htm
I think they are about $35, but it is really nice, and I think it comes with a stand/base that is a spinner.
I won one of them at a local IMAC contest, and it has worked really well for what I need.

The IMAC site has downloads for several aerobatic planes that
provide you with a colored profile version of the plane. Download
it, scale it to the size you want, print it out, mount in on some balsa
sheet and a dowel and you are all set.

what i did was downloaded the stick plane from the imac site, and mate cutouts of each part with what if ican remember 1/16 inch lite ply. we used spray glue to get it to stick on the wood, and to top it off, since the guy i was with was clearcoating a plane, we decided to clearcoat the stick planes. thay came out greaat!...and pretty much free....
