Default RE: Aluminum Big Bore Shocks HELP

Mine did the same thing when I put RPM arms on the rear and moved my shock mounting position to the upper middle and lower-inner holes. The back end would drop down but not rebound. I fixed my issue by going from the 60wt oil I had in the rear shocks to a 40 wt that I was running up front, then I doubled up the large spacers. Now it is riding where I want it. I don't run the soft stock bigbore springs, I run 3-7 s stage springs and I still need two large spacers on each shock, with the soft stock bigbore springs I'd probably need 3.

also, check your ball cups and make sure they aren't overtightened.

Oh, and yes, I would like a cookie thank you.

first diconnect your shocks & make sure the suspension arms arent binding up.Second get stiffer springs either trinity or there are some really stiff titanium springs available.Third run 30 or 40 weight oil maximum.Fourth add a few preload spacers & adjust mounting holes & those shocks will work great i have a set & they work nicely..

Where's a good place to get some springs for my shocks? If so what kind should I get. I have done everything I could to my shocks to fix this problem but nothing seems to work. I need some good strong shock springs.

trinity makes nice springs. Use their blue ones, they are ultra stiff I have heard. You need a stronger spring to push the truck back up. I agree the bog bore shock springs/oil are very soft. I have some 50 wt shock oil I never got around to putting in.
