Has anyone successfully used JR XS3 for rear steer?
Have any of you guys used the 3rd channel on an XS3 for rear steer?
I just got my scale crawler together and have the rear steer set up using the linear feature, but its really slow and cumbersome to use. Is there a better way?
Thanks.
Dan.

RE: Has anyone successfully used JR XS3 for rear steer?
I've used it on about 7 different vehicles with rear steer with no problems. What servo are you using on the rear steer? You want a high torque steering servo on the rear, but you want it to be either slower than the front steer or be able to adjust the expo on it. You want the rear to turn slower than the front, otherwise the truck will roll. You'll set the 3rd channel to act as a 3 position switch and it should work just fine. You'll move the switch to the left, the rear end will go to the left, when you let go of the button, the rear steer should return to center. Is this the way it is working? I've used it on Clodbusters, TXT-1s, Juggernauts and a Kyosho Mad Force with no problems. I set it up on a custom built Juggernaut 2 that I built for a monster truck driver with an XR3 and he's not had any problems with it in the 3 years that he's had it.
