Aeroworks 33% Ultimate any good?
Just curious if anyone has this arf and if the quality is any good? I have heard a lot of negative things as of late about them. Does anyone have one. I'm ready to pull the trigger on one of these but I don't want to buy something that I will have to put a lot of extra work in.

RE: Aeroworks 33% Ultimate any good?
Turbo.... This plane actually goes together pretty good.... There are a few issues tho with the biggest being that the wing anti-rotation pins DO NOT line up with the holes in the opposite wing... I got lazy with mine and instead of taking them out and rebuilding them I just ground them smaller until they "somewhat" went in the holes.... all and all tho you will be pleased with the plane.... I have only 3 flights on mine so far because I am having a problem with the new DA100 on mine..... In this plane with a small cowl (for a DA100) the carb. is 100% exposed outside the bottom and im having (what I believe to be) a air flow problem.. The engine runs great on the ground and flying at full throttle but at mid-range I have a bad gurgle... which is very bad for this plane as you need mid-range power to land... If anyone else has had this problem PLEASE respond and let me know how you solved it. Airborn models is now selling this plane for 649.

It sounds like you need to put a plate over the carb to cover the tiny hole that it has on it. I'm pretty sure that is your problem. Thanks for the info on the plane.
