I just waited approx. 9 days. That was my experience with BME so far. Maybe I'm just lucky Or Keith has got the message on service.

It's all what you like. I had to send in my DA 100 in for inspection because I had a plane that had a wingtube failure. I got my motor back in less than a week!!! Try to do that with BME. I can promise you that you won't be flying a plane with your motor in three weeks. A good friend of mine has called and even emailed Keith to get his BME 44(I sold it to my friend) repaired and he has had no response in almost three weeks!!!! Is that the kind of service you want when you have an issue with your motor?

That is good to hear. As for my friend, it has been a nightmare just trying to contact Keith.

Just my two cents on service. I have only delt with BME, but I do understand that DA has some of the best service in the business. BME has given me excellent service. I crashed last year at the Waco IMAC event. Keith took my engine home Sunday morning and returned it repaired that afternoon. It had bent the crankshaft. He straightened crank, replaced a bearing, and bead blasted the engine. It looked new when it was returned. I have had nothing but excellent service from BME. It now flys my Wildhare Edge.

PS. Emailed the other night and received answer next morning.

Does anyone have an email address for Keith at BME? Sent my engine in and need to ask a question.
