Did you use spray paint, or dye it?
Looks cool. That's one way to make a unique truck with out spending all the $$$$$ on Al parts. And keeps it lighter. I have a lot of Al on mine, and I think it ways about 5lbs. more than my sons SS.[8D]

I powder coated the side plates, I had no choice but to paint the rest, its kind of hard to dye black plastic, I wish companies would make dyable parts. It was very cheap, it was like 14 for the paint and 20 in spare plastic parts. Theres about 8 coats of clear coat on there so I dont thind the paint should come off any time soon, that is until racing comes along. Thanks for the possitive feedback.

In my high schools metals lab we have a cnc plasma cutter, so I drew it up in CAD then cut it out. its about 1/32 of an inch to big on one end i have to grind it down a bit.
