Default Marukata C47

Hello[8D],

I just start the building of a marukata C47

If you've got tips, or information for this plane, i ll take it!!

Hi!
Make it light! Remove all material that is not needed (that could be difficult to know of course).
Aim for a weight around 3kg and it will be a floater.
If you are interested I have glassfiber cowls for the Marutaka DC-3.
I have also made scale 3-bladed, 10x5, functional carbonfiber props for it.
Do not use large 6,5cc engines this will make the plane too heavy instead use either OS or SAITO .30 fourstrokes...or .25 twostrokes like the OS LA .25 (which are very light and reliable).

Saito 45's should work good We have a top flite c 47 flying with saito 50's at part throttle Top flite and the Markuta/Royal c47 are comparable in size
