Default revo slipping?

Went up to a steep rock and tried to get over it [:@] Wasnt happening so i backed off and drove away. Accept now Im hardly moving. Thought the clutch burnt up but when I inspected the clutch bell was engaging and the spur gear was moving. I of course wasnt moving fast......hardly at all. Engine revs but car slowly gets up to speed. Ideas? Transmission shot?

Is your slipper clutch bolt loose? If it is you won't get the torque to the wheels you are supposed to. Just and idea. I'm a newb, but i would check that if you haven't already. Good Luck.

I would say with the symptoms... it might be the slipper, but I think it's the Centrifugal clutch... if the slipper is messed up, the spur gear will still spin, it just won't move the transmission that fast. if the centrifugal clutch (inside the clutch bell) is burned out, however... it might turn the clutch bell a little... then slip the rest of the time... giving you the engine revving, and the car not moving MUCH... until the car gets more momentum and it doesn't take as much force to get it to move... take the engine off... and the clutch bell... and check your clutch. If it looks normal, clean it... What I've always done is just sprayed a little brake cleaner on the clutch, and the clutch bell... to clean it off.... 'cause if you sat and spun the clutch a lot... there will be worn clutch particles hanging out in there... clean it off, then see what happens. Otherwise, you may have torn up a gear in the tranny, however I doubt that.

I really dont have 500 bucks right now.. but in about a month i should have about 550, is that enough? I already have fuel and an ez-start for my sportmaxx.
So is that enough?

should be.... the only extra things I bought were the battery for the EZ-Start... a charger .. the batteries for the TX, fuel... and a field box... but, other than that... as long as you find the right deal... $550 should be plenty. These were my first trucks. I paid $1200 for both trucks ... 2 gal. fuel... all the accessories for 2 trucks and the field box (Walmart $30)
