Default Anyone know the mcmaster part number

I saw some airline connectors that were press connectors. Like you put in the wing, and put in the fuse and press together and instant air connection. Anyone know where I can get them at McMaster? I know I can get these at BVM but I need like 10 of them and $350.00 isn't exactly in the budget for them.

Sean,
These are BVM EZ AIR fittings. They are a propriatary part, made by BVM, P/N 5495, and cost $24.95 for a set of 6. (Twice the quantity shown in the BVM catalog photo you supplied). McMaster-Carr can't help you with this exact part.

Six connectors are $24.95, so twelve connectors would be $50 bucks.. Patti has them in stock.

Harley, when I said ten, I meant 10 full sets, but I thought they were around 35 bucks a set. Still a 250.00 solution, but if that's what I need, then so be it, I'm building a pnematic control panel at work with a door that closes, 1/16 lines. I've used the bvm ones before and know they work, so no worries, thanks for the info, didn't know they were proprietary.

Sein,

Try this company for industrial fitting needs of pnuematics. They will have what you need however in brass or stainless a bit heavy for model use.

SMC Pneumatics makes a similar fitting. (Not exactly but the same idea.) I have used them a lot in the past on automated tooling. You can find a majority of their items at [link=http://www.smcusa.com/]SMCUSA[/link].
Hope that helps,
Matt

Page 508. You need the KSV and KDV inserts for this blind mate pneumatic connector. I think the 2 mm nipple size will work on 1/16 airline, I am not sure.

The rub is you gotta find a reasonable Festo distributor or these are gonna cost you.
