My 4link Stampede
I've been kinda lurking here for the last month or so, I joined a long time ago but didn't really visit. Anyways, I've been working on this thing for a couple months now and I think it's really coming out great. It's 4wd, the rear diff is locked and the front will be very soon. I've got a set of 55t lathe motors in the mail right now that should be here wed. or thurs. but for right now it's got two 17t s's geared 12/87. I'm waiting for the 55t's to figure out a better gear ratio. I'm running a super rooster esc. The chassis and pretty much everything is custom made. All that's left of the poor Stampede is the body and rear transmission.
Overhead view of how I made the axle's solid.
Plenty of diff clearance.
Side shot, still need to build a skid for under the chassis.
How I trianglulated the upper links.
Old picture of how well it articulates. I've done many upgrades to it since then.

Yes I am, I usually post my projects on a couple boards to get suggestions from a lot of people. I know I know some but there is always someone that has an idea far better than what I would have thought of.

LOL, that's rude.
On another note, I've widened the chassis by 1" on each side to make it 4" wide. It really helped by putting the links and shocks at a much more healthier angle. Before when it articulated it the rod ends would bend a little at 3/4 articulation as where now it goes all the way to full tilt without any binding.

That body isn't the one going on it when I actually crawl with it. I think it would be too heavy. I'm going to paint it up and put head and tail lights in it just for show and screwing around with. I have another body I'm thinking about using for crawling, it's a Toyota Landcruiser.
