27 MHZ band
Hey I got my Mammoth and I want to switch it over to 27MHZ frequency but I am currently running in the 75MHZ band and I wanted to know If I can just switch crystals. BTW it is the stock Hitec AM Agressor radio.

Nope, 27mhz crystals will not work in a 75mhz radio.
Just curious, why do you want to go from 75mhz to 27mhz? 75mhz is generally thought of as the better option. More channels and a little less susceptable to interference.

I've always been skepticle on the thought that 75mhz gets less interference than 27mhz. I get interferance all the time on both my 75mhz radios, but my 27mhz has never glitched. I mean, whats up with that? [&:]

RE: 27 MHZ band
I 2nd the fm. I got a jr xr3i radio ( 3 chanel fm expodential) and it is soo much better than the am crap I was useing before. and it was 125 ish, came with 2 servos and a reciever. it was worth every penny.
also the nicer radios with more obtions tend to have less chance of glitching. they are able to block out the interferrance better or somthin.
