Airtronics M8 or JR R-1?

Well I have the oportunity to buy a Airtronics M8 or a JR R-1. Which one will be the best to get?

By all accounts they are both very good, high end radios. Make a feature list and see if there are any one is missing. Other than that, get your hands on them both and see which one fits best.

I would go with the R1 because it is PCM.
