Default 9.6v in TX???

Hello I have a jr radio and im wanting to put a stick pack in it but the stick pack is only 9.6volts 700ma. Im using AA right now and its 12v. Will this affect anything since the voltage is much lower? Also do the stick packs last much longer than the AA's? Thanks.

the voltage will be fine... you won't notice any change... I would however use rechargeable AA batteries because you can get them in mah up to 2500.... I use them and purchased 8 for around $20.00 with the fast charger.. last a lot longer than the 700 mah ones...
