Default Hanger 9 Showtime SFGs???

I know this plane isn't out yet but I was hoping some industry insiders could tell me how the "Side Force Generators" are held into the wing.

The write-ups all say that they are removeable for transportation and that plugs are included if you want to fly with out them. But, all the pics I've seen don't give any indication of how they are held into the wing. Is it a friction fit? Some tabs and bolts I don't see in the pics???

Thanks,
Mike

I asked that very same question of the rep in Toledo and was shown exactly how.

There is a threaded rod with a thumb screw that goes from top to bottom and sandwitches both the top and bottom "Side Force Generators" to the wings. You can remove them and they come with a plate that covers the hole they are in so you can fly without them. Takes all of 5 minuites the first time and gets quicker as you do it more.

Bill,

I think I understand. Is the thumb screw a nylock type or something? What keeps it from vibrating loose?

Thanks,
Mike
