Jato vs. 1/8 scale Buggy in a race.
I own a Jato with a M/S airfilter. The other car was a 1/8 scale Mayhem Buggy with a .26 We decided to do some drag racing. Approx 300-400 feet. (Guessing). I beat him every race. At the end of the race i was about 3-4 R/C car lengths in front of him. I had excellant grip with my new tires. Virtually no wheelspin with WOT from the launch.

I know he would destroy me in the turns. No questions asked. We where just screwing around to see who was faster in a straight line.

An 1/8 scale properly geared for racing will top out in 3 seconds and maybe 80 feet, and be around 40-45mph at that point.
A buggy also doesn't have it's top speed brandished on the front of the box.

Also. . .a buggy doesn't have a 2-speed tranny. It's like saying I beat a Viper in my Geo Metro, but the Viper was only allowed to be in 1st gear.
