Default Help!!!!

Ok, I just talked to a friend over the phone that is going to sell me his Traxxis monster truck for like 125 bucks. My dad saw it but i havnt. the kid said it is a Traxxis TRX. I have not heard of one of these. It is a 4wd truck and he said it is pretty awsome. I am new to the nitro rc stuff, i have races electric my life. So my question is can someone maby give me some links to some pics or give me some info on this truck, or IS their a TRX or is it called something else. I really just want any info about this truck and I would also like to see some pics or links or something because like I said my dad saw it but I havnt.
Any info would be appreciated.
thanks

Chase

I really dont know. I was looking and just kinda googling it around and I think that the TRX is the engine. Kinda like the TRX 2.5 engine in a traxxis t-maxx truck. I think that the kid was looking at the engine or whatever. So I think it could be a tmax or emax or what ever. It is 4wd though. So I guess that will help narrow down some of the choices.
thanks for the help.

Default RE: Help!!!!

I just got off the phone with the guy. He said on the front bumper it says TRX and it is a 2.5. It has eight shocks instead of 4 (I am new to monster trucks so I dont know if they all have eight shocks) it has a 3 way channel controller and it is a two speed with reverse. That is the info. So would that be a T-maxx??
Any Info would really help.
Also, I need to find a manual. Is their anyway i maby can download a manual. Because on my YFZ450 Quad the manual is on a disc. Or am I going to have to purchase one from Traxxis?

Yep thats a T-Maxx and if its the 2.5 and not the old 1.5 than that is a dirt cheap price and id say snatch it while you've got the chance even if it is the older Maxx.

Thanks guys, I just picked it up and it is the T-Maxx. The only thing wrong with this thing is that I have to solder a couple of wires and then get a new battery for the electric start. I was cleaning it up and checking this thing out at it is in REALLY good condition. It is like new. It is pretty much stock but I think that there is an aftermarket filter on it but other than that it is pretty bad ass. I should be having it running tomarrow. I paid 100 for the car and an extra 25 for a brand new gallon of fuel.
I will let yall know how it is.

Yea cleburn is pretty small. I found this little place like in rio vista or keene or somewhere near by and it is called Bobby jacks and he sale's rc stuff. It is just a little garage place at his house but he has pretty good prices.Other than that I usually go to Hobby Town USA in Arlington. Maby sometime we can get together and race or something. Do you ever go to any tracks or anything? I am going to be going to Johnny Cool Guy pretty soon.
