A Question from a New T-Maxx owner
So im super excited I just got a used T-maxx off a friend and am waiting on a few parts before I can run it. My Questions are this.
Im looking for a SET of all the nuts/bolts and screws.. like a 'T-Maxx' in a bag sorta deal. I dont need the extra parts but I wish to change out all the screws and so on. So besides searching towerhobbies for each and every baggy of screws, do they have a package of all the screws needed? And where do I find it?
Also, previously I had orderd some tires for my Stadium truck, and I orderd the wrong tires, so 2 sets of huge tires showed up, they dont say what size, nor what they will fit.. All they say on the label is "Bow Tie 40 Series tire, Fits 40 Series Wheel" Are 40 Series the size that fit the Monster Trucks? The Rims were not orderd so I have nothing right now to judge the size from. Im wondering if I should try and trade them or if I shouldput them on my Tmaxx
Thank you In Advance

RE: A Question from a New T-Maxx owner
For the best deal on hardware, check out Tony's Screws. He's a great guy to deal with and his screws are all grade 10.9 or 12.9, the best you can get for out toy cars. He also carries other very handy stuff for rc cars you might want to check out as well.
If you do go with 40 series wheels and tires, avoid the Proline Velocity racing wheels like the plague unless you like very short lived wheels. They are known for breaking around the drive hex area. The strongest 40 series wheels available for a 14mm (t maxx) drive hex is the Proline Velocity 6 wheels. Not to be confused with the ordinary Velocity racing wheel from Proline.

If you want to use those 40 series tires you bought, as FHM said you will need 40 series wheels. They will not fit on the stock maxx wheels, but I'm sure you could see that just by looking at them.
I second the tony's screws reccomendation this is the t-maxx kit [link=https://www.tonysscrews.com/displayProductDocument.hg?productId=1&categoryId=2]https://www.tonysscrews.com/displayProductDocument.hg?productId=1&categoryId=2[/link]
