yak landing gear
Hey guy's
Was wondering when omp updated the tetherite landing gear
I bought my yak 65 last year in September
The gear is not bad as long as you do not land harder than a feather!
The plane to build and fly is just awesome but the gear sucks so was wondering if there is some update

RE: yak landing gear
Yeah. My tetherlites sux bad. I've got 2 large rubber bands between the 2 legs to keep them together or else mine just keep on squatting until I can't go anymore. And at $16 a prop it sux.

RE: yak landing gear
The tetherites are the best landing gear ive ever seen, My original yak used and abused them and they still live on another plane. they are a bit flexy but ive never had a problem with them, you just can't beat the crazy legs.

The 90 size Tetherite gear did have an update in the spring, but may not have made it into the OMP 65" YAK at that time[].
