What Monster Truck Suits My Needs?
OK, I know you guys have heard this question a thousand times, but I need help.
Next month I am going to get a new R/C. I have had both nitro, and electric experience(t-maxx,rc10gt, gs storm rtr, rc10t4) for about 5 years.
I want another nitro, and i really want it to be a monster truck.
What are your guys opinions about the mt's, and what is your favorite. i would love to get the lst, but i dont have the cash.
I really like the titan, but is it like out-dated?
I want both to bash, and race...mainly bash. i want alot of aftermarket support, doesent break if you hit a curb at 5 mph( ie, the tmaxx) and i want it do about 40, if not slower(and yes i dont mind anything faster)
Please help.
Thanks.

RE: What Monster Truck Suits My Needs?
lostwithinme,
I've had a similar experience with rc cars...electric: hornet, lunchbox, rc10b3...nitro: Savage21, Ofna 1/8 scale buggy, RS4SS, and now the FG MT Bigfoot JRexA was talking about. Of all that I"m down to the Savage and MT. I've went crazy on the hop up s and spent lots of money on the Savage but found that I didn't really need to. I was just having fun changing things on it. The truck is great as is and has plenty of after market support. I'd highly recomend it. By the way, there are a few to chose from now. You can get the Savage SS, which is a kit and build it yourself or the Savage25 RTR. These should get you up around 40mph.
thisis the RTR at http://www.towerhobbies.com/products/hpi/hpic1832.html
And that price gets you pretty much everything you need. For the MT you can almost double that price before buying the radio. If you decide to go with the MT it's a gas/oil mixture like a weed wacker! It rules! Mike with www.rcnutshobbies.com can take good care of you for FG products.

By far my favorite MT is the MGT. Between my friends and myself, we have had most, if not all of the major names in MT's. If I were out to buy another MT, it would be another MGT. The Savage comes in second. good luck withyour choice.

Savage to bash and Hellfire to race. The Hellfire will not be out for a couple more months.
